I am a senior sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics and lead the fast-growing unit, Bee Delightful. We are a Premier Club unit within the company.
This is a blog for our unit, providing valuable training and encouragement for each other. My aim is to be generous in sharing knowledge and even more generous in recognizing you for the work that you do!
I write about personal growth, entrepreneurship, leadership, being a female in all of the above, and of course skin care and cosmetics.

MY BIOGRAPHY
I began my career as a school social worker. Fresh out of grad school and newly married, I quickly realized a couple things.
- social workers REALLY don’t get paid anything. Really.
- my job required my best, my husband got my leftovers at the end of a work day. Not. Cool. If family was more important to me than work, why did work take up the majority of my time?
- When I looked around at my coworkers, no one was happy, no one had goals, and everyone preferred status quo. I would trade places with no one. Yikes!
So becoming my own independent beauty consultant, I laughed at myself for pretending like I knew what a facial highlighting pen did, and decided my need for change was too great to ignore to NOT try something new.
Now when I put my effort towards something, I put in ALL my effort. I’m so thankful this effort brought so many blessings. I only had 8 hours a week to try this new thing out, but I hustled in those precious 8 hours.
4 MONTHS LATER. Had a brand new free car from MK and quit my full time social work job. I’m so THANKFUL for the income this new opportunity has brought and I’m even more grateful for the friendships and personal growth. Honestly!
Today I have been married to my incredibly solid and reliable husband, Chris, for 5 years and we have 1 daughter, Harper, and a fluffy goldendoodle, Mack. I love them.
In my free time I love to read, take walks, and occasionally paint. I also really like hunting shopping online.
